March 2016 Prayer Concert

.- Praise that the first AID Seminar in Tijuana was well received with 45 participants and 20 volunteers. All Nations Church (Humberto Leyva, Tijuana) hosted this seminar as they showed great spirit of service. The volunteers came from Cuernavaca, DF, and Villahermosa to serve with a testimony and table leading. Especially our dear brother Lorenzo Vazquez (elder at El Buen Pastor NPC, Vhsa) brought two of his pastors so they can experience the core of our ministry. They equally praised the blessing of being ministered by our team.

.- Now pray that we will have AID follow-up studies in the next two months. Out of 45 participants, there were praises and concerns for a better Christian walk. Pray for God’s healing presence on many lives and their families. May the Holy Spirit continue to work within them to further spiritual understanding of their family needs.

.- Praise for Bible reading group at Cristo Arca de Salvacion church. We have 30+ people regularly attending every Tuesday evening class. Special blessing we count on is a number of families dedicated to sit together around dining table for reading. Jorge Herrera and his family is one of them. They found much blessing as they read daily portion of the Word with their 3 teenaged boys.

.- Praise that Abe’s trip to Honduras was an extra blessing to learn about youth ministry. The Association for a More Just Society (ASJ) (www.asjhonduras.com) has developed a systematically well-designed program to outreach and rescue youth-at-risk. We’d love to see it happen here in Tijuana and anywhere else.

.- Praise that monthly mentoring goes well. On the 7th, Abe will have 3-4 obreros of Cristo Arca de Salvacion church (Emmanuel, Ramon, Rafael, and Israel) for the third time to assist them ministerially develop and spiritual-biblically know and grow further. Last month we dealt with liturgy with many Q&As. This month we will take a look personal preaching planning and style.

.- Pray that Coffee Break women’s groups in Tijuana and Cuernavaca continue to dig in the Bible as they find life nourishment in each story. They will soon study on the topic of Easter. May they find renewing message of life and faith in this season of Christ’s powerful humiliation and triumphant return to the Father.

.- Pray that Abe will teach Hermeneutics at Presbytery Norte’s seminary on Saturdays in March. There are only 3 students. Pray that the Spirit will continue to uphold them not to loose their focus on loving and serving Jesus.

.- Pray for Elaine and her lecture at women society union on March 12. All church ladies will gather together at Cristo Pan de Vida Church. She would need wisdom to encourage them to spiritually aware and be more responsible to their roles.

.- Praise for pastor Santiago and his church (Cristo Vive) as they heard about Missional Church. May they take a look at their spiritual being before stepping out for more evangelism activities.

.- Some of our friends want to visit our ministry sites and explore possible ministry expansion in Tijuana. Pray that God will send His angels to effectively partner with us here Tijuana, land of excited ministry opportunities and big-and-small messiness as well. Our local pastors and leaders have shared their experiences and thoughts how to improve for a better Kingdom engagement.

.- Praise and pray for Elaine’s semester achievement at Bethel Seminary. As you may know that she is enrolled in master program for Marital and Family Therapy. Thank God that she enjoys every topic and quickly applies for day-by-day ministry opportunities. As an outcome, we are roughly planning a training retreat for our ministry team in near future, so they will have additional understanding and empowered to serve more and better.

.- Praise that our children are doing well at school. They have been awarded for their semester achievement and services.
