Tocob campus of IBRC

Five new students have been added to the institute. Starting from this year the education committee of Reformed Bible Institute of Chiapas (IBRC) has decided to run with two campus rather than one center in Palenque to help out students reduce their transportation expenses.

Three countrymen knocked our institute door last January with great interest in learning the Bible. They have mistakenly explained their motif, "to preach the word." It is lightly taken as a profession respected by fellow countrymen. However, we encouraged them to live it out first. Make the gospel personal more than public-oriented. In 2 years of program we will help them understand its meaning and commit themselves for it. As the first course, I taught 'Introduction to the Gospels' to draw together a perspective of the Lord as he has been pictured by the gospel writers. Their eyes opened up a little to hunger for more learning which will follow by building a solid relationship with Jesus Christ.

Though they were covered with mud in addition to stink of sweat, we've had fruitful week of study upon their naive smile. A joyful week it was in Tocob, our new campus 4hrs driving distance from Palenque. Pray that they may go along to learn more and serve God.
